Project Management
The Project Management experience at MORI (Marriott Ownership Resorts Inc.) that I participated in for over 9 years was focused on both developing and delivering timeshare, fractional and whole ownership based Sales and Marketing Facilities on a world-wide global scale. My clients were various high level Sales and Marketing staff connected with the worlds largest seller of timeshare and fractional real estate product. Development experience consisted of early business planning, programming, cost estimation, due diligence investigation, conceptual design, construction management, procurement oversight, IT oversight and directing final delivery and installation. This role also included design and layout for the Exhibits & Displays which included custom millwork design. Delivery responsibilities also included management oversight for the computer animation, graphic art, photography and message content of each exhibit and display. Oversight for the work of various Art Directors for all associated sales and marketing photo and graphic content were also included primarily from a scope, budget and schedule standpoint. Experience also included close coordination with various Marketing & Advertising Agencies to coordinate in-house graphic creation efforts with outside Ad Agencies. This process typically included delivery of a resort based topo model and digital based resort animation and oversight of associated resort specific photo shoots. Facilities were typically delivered as fully furnished turn key projects and included project management responsibility for total delivered project cost. While some facility sizes varied from something as small as a 150 sf Marketing Desk or a Sales Center at 36,550 sf. Typical facilities ranged in the 12,000 to 18,000 sf range of sizes.
Facilities centered around four major Corporate Brand Types and were all delivered according to strict brand standards:
